The makers of Nexus One probably still don’t recognize that the geometric element of this phone is a artifact in terms of standards of Eloquence design. It appears the ETC desire kept the external frame, shape and somewhat size but the gagity buttons and gunk that to me mars up the glass to frame ratio with the Desire is a step back to the common generic smart phone look – too much gunk. They had it right with the Nexus One which is similar in concept with Apple’s IPhone…less gagity junk on the main frame..sleek and simple…the Desire is a step back. What I would “desire” to see in the next two years is a Nexus Two!!!! Sticking with the exact frame, panel and no more buttons than what it has now. Otherwise it looks Wal Marty and not classly. The Nexus One is the standard and still looks better than the boxy Scion looking IPhone. The Evo and Desire both have that Wall Marty look about them. This is close but no cigar. The Nexus One still rules baby. Don’t lose sight of this phone and its original concept. Steve Job’s as the concept down and so does HTC with the Nexus One if…they don’t lose sight of what they have.
