Nokia 8 Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out

HMD Global started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo beta update for the  Nokia 8 smartphone last month. As promised, it has started rolling out the final Android Oreo update for the phone today. The company already promised to offer Oreo update for all its Android smartphones.

Android 8.0 Oreo comes with array of features including Background limits, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Snoozing individual notification, Wide-gamut color for apps, Adaptive icons, Companion device pairing, Keyboard navigation, AAudio API for Pro Audio and more.

The Nokia Android 8.0 Oreo update (V4.35J) is 1.51GB in size and also includes Android security patch for November 2017. It is roll out in phases over a period of 2 days to global models and some operators are still reviewing the software so some variants might get it next week. Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 will open for beta testing soon, said Sarvikas.
