Twitter product manager Jesar Shah revealed the company started working on the Save for Later feature during a recent Hack Week. A video is also present in the tweet that demos the new bookmarking option, which offers an “Add to Bookmarks” tool for preserving tweets. Shah further said the feature was one of the most requested by many people, especially those in Japan. The company plans to ask users for feedback as the company designs and experiments with the feature.

The bookmarking feature appears under the tweet’s More menu where you then find a new “Add to Bookmarks” option. Currently, in order to save a tweet, you can bookmark it by liking it, DM it to self or simply retweet.
