Nokia 3310 starts shipping, coming to India soon

Nokia unveiled new 3310 feature phone at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona in February. It already said that it will start shipping the phone in both single SIM and dual SIM variants starting Q2 for 49 Euros (Rs. 3455 approx.). Today the company has confirmed that it has started shipping the phone.

It also said that it will reveal pricing and availability details for India soon, so India launch might be weeks away. Regarding the India launch of the Nokia 3310, HMD Spokesperson said:

We know there is keen interest in when the Nokia 3310 will be available. We will be making announcements in the coming weeks regarding availability and price in India. Stay tuned for more…..

It has a 2.4 inch QGVA color display with polarized layer that claims to offer better sunlight visibility. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light that acts as torch and brings back nostalgia with the most popular game Snake.

It has a removable back cover, 16MB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 32GB via a micro SD card.  It supports only 2G connectivity with support for GSM 900/1800 MHz bands. Its 1200mAh battery promises up to 31 days stand by time and the company claims that the device will offer talk time of 22 hours.

It comes in glossy yellow, red, matte grey and dark blue colors. HMD Global is holing an event on Monday, May 8 where it is expected to reveal more details, including availability of its latest smartphones. Check out the hands-on impressions and photo gallery of the Nokia 3310 here.
