Google Trips gets new features for better vacation planning

Google Trips is getting a major update with bunch of new features that will make your next vacation better. Launched in September last year, the travel planning app will now keep hotel, flight and other reservations in one tab and let you share any of it with the tap of a button. Anyone you share with will receive an email with all the reservation details, and see them in the app too.

Next up, Trips will now let you make manual changes to your itineraries. By tapping the “+” button in the bottom right corner, you can add new details like your airline and flight number, or the name of your hotel. You can even add little notes on the go.

Google Trips will also automatically organize all your past and future train and bus reservations in one location on the app. It already grabs flight information from your Gmail inbox. Moreover, you can now download destinations that have trended towards the top.

The new features are now rolling out to Google Trips and should become available worldwide soon.
