Vivo V5s selfie-focused smartphone launching in India on April 27

Vivo has sent out invites for the launch of V5s, successor of last year’s V5 smartphone in India on April 27th. The teaser says that it will be a selfie-focused smartphone, similar to the predecessor so it could pack a similar 20MP front-facing camera.

It also shows a metal frame the is more shiny. Other specifications have not been revealed yet.

To remind you, the V5 packs a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 2.6 and has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a fingerprint sensor, custom AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip and a 3000mAh battery.

We should know all the details of the smartphone including its price when it launches next Thursday.
