Yahoo has launched a bunch of bots for Facebook Messenger. The company is bringing four different bots for News, Weather, Finance and Monkey.
The algorithmically-driven bots for Messenger will offer you relative information on the topics that interest you. Users will have to simply message @YahooFinance, @YahooNews or @YahooWeather within Facebook Messenger to receive information about finance, general or weather news in the app. Yahoo weather bot allows you to caption and send images from Flickr, which it promises will help “bring the forecast to life. Yahoo news on the other hand will show trending stories and let you search for a specific story.
The fourth bot is called as Monkey pet which lets you message @MonkeyPet, a monkey character named Boo who will exchange chats and emojis with you.
