Samsung Star Nano 3G lands in India at Price of Rs.7320

Samsung India has launched it’s cheapest 3G touchscreen phone in India the Star Nano 3G. The Star Nano 3G is the latest addition to the Star series which had the Samsung Star and Star3G and WiFi.Samsung is calling this phone ‘My first 3G touch phone’  and is aimed at the youth


The S3370 is known in Russia as the Corby 3G and with too many Corby’s in the Indian market , Samsung decided to call it the Nano 3G. With this launch the company has over 21 touch screen devices in the country.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director- Mobile & IT, Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. said, “The launch of Star Nano 3G is significant as it  represents our most affordable 3G touch screen handset as well as strengthens our portfolio of 3G enabled handsets as the country gears up for the roll-out of 3G services very soon.”

      this mobile doesnt support wifi but it can store msgs in memory card and it support all type of document (eg. word , powerpoint ,exel , pdf ,etc.

    I don’t understand whats the use of 3G handset without front camera, as the main feature of 3G is its video calling feature. 3G handset without dual camera is waste and aiming at customers who are not aware of this thing.

      Dude many people would like to use high end interent speeds and services….it’s for dem… if u can spend more u can buy d one with dual cam…nothing offensive here…:-)

    i bought this handset on 16th of may, before it was officially launched in india, but the online imei analyzer could not give further information on this handset though they accepted that the imei number is correct… and secondly, vodafone could not set gprs on this handset…. sucks… i regret now

    dude..i suppose u need get it unlocked… as most of phones purchased outside INDIA need to be made compatible…

      Dude 3G is not only about video calls, it about the high connection speed you get…. so a 3G phone without dual cam makes sense…….
