Amazon announced two new Fire HD tablets – Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 8 and has also upgraded last year’s Fire Kids Edition tablet. The Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 tablets have a 8-inch and 10-inch HD displays, respectively. These are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8135 SoCs and run new Fire OS 5 ‘Bellini’ based on Android Lollipop.
Amazon also introduced a new Fire Kids Edition tablet with similar specifications of the new Fire. It also comes with an updated kid-proof case, one year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, 20,000 hand-curated and age-appropriate websites and YouTube videos and 2-year worry-free guarantee.
