Xiaomi has posted a teaser for the launch of a new product on July 16th on weibo. This just shows PK with a slim metal frame of a product placed in the middle. Xiaomi could unveil the Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus smartphone since the company introduced the Mi 4 in July last year. We can also expect the Redmi Note 2. The long frame in the teaser also hints at a new Mi Pad tablet, but Xiaomi could also surprise us with a new product.
According to recent rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection, Snapdragon 810 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery with quick charging, allowing users to charge 30% of the phone’s battery in 40 minutes.
The Mi 5 Plus is rumored to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 23-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3500mAh battery.
We will have to wait till next Thursday to find out what Xiaomi has to offer.
