HTC renews partnership NorthEast United FC, signs John Abraham as brand evangelist

HTC has announced that it will renew its lead sponsor partnership with NorthEast United FC for season-2 of ISL (Indian Soccer League) at an event in Taipei, Taiwan. It has also signed John Abraham as its brand evangelist for India. HTC became lead sponsor for North East United FC (NEUFC) for last season of Hero ISL back in October last year.

HTC also said that it will start local assembly in India from Q3 2015 starting from mid-end devices and India one of the top markets for them. The Indian Super League season 2 will kick off on October 3rd and last until mid-December.

At an event to unveil the new official club jersey, Cher Wang, Chairwoman & CEO, HTC, said:

ISL is the fourth-highest attended football league in the world, and more than 430 million viewers tuned in last year.

John Abraham, Indian actor/producer, and owner of NorthEast United FC, said:
