Microsoft adds music section to Windows 10 store beta


Microsoft has added Music section to its Windows 10 store beta. The music section is coming for those running Build 10130 and version 3.6.1068.0 of the Music app in the Windows 10 Insider Preview.

Starting today, you will see a Music section in Windows Store that will be allow you to browse through new albums and top songs as per genre. At present, purchase of music is not possible yet and will be available only after Windows 10 will roll out next month on July 29. Microsoft said that the Music section is not fully ready will get new features eventually. It will be add the ability to auto-download songs to the Music section in the coming weeks.

Currently the Music will be available for users only in the US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, United Kingdom, and New Zealand. If you have a Xbox Music Pass subscription, you will still be able to add music to the collection directly from within the Music app.
