More details about the upcoming Redmi Note 2 smartphone from Xiaomi has surfaced in a new leak. The smartphone which is codenamed Hermes with Xiaomi H3Y model number was first spotted last month.
The latest leak comes from popular leakster @upleaks saying that the phone will sport a Full HD display (1920x1080p), but there is no word on the screen size. The Xiaomi H3Y is also said to powered by a 64 bit MediaTek MT6795 chipset with octa-core CPU. It comes with 2GB or 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory and will run MIUI 6 based on Android 5.x Lollipop. The smartphone is expected to have a 13-megapixel rear camera (Samsung’s S5K3M2 sensor) and a 5-megapixel front shooter (OmniVision’s OV5670 sensor).
Earlier this month Xiaomi’s 2015 roadmap was leaked indicating launch of four new Mi smartphones. At present there is no information about pricing and availability of the phone.
