Google Drive for Android gets better file sharing, 23 new languages


Google Drive for Android Share from Notification

Google has updated its Drive app for Android that now lets you share files easily from the notification shade. Once you upload a file to Drive you will receive a notification after if finishes. Now it also includes an option to share with other people for faster sharing, instead of opening the Drive app once again to share it.

This new update also brings support for 23 new languages that includes Armenian, Basque, Chinese (Hong Kong), French (Canada), Georgian, Khmer and Malayalam so that people in several countries can use Drive in their native language. This update also brings several performance improvements, says Google.

Google Drive app for Android recently got updated with Improved PDF support, drag and drop option to organize files into folders easily and enhanced user interface.

The new Google Drive for Android update will be rolled out over the next week through Google Play.
