As we reported earlier, Meizu is set to enter the Indian smartphone market soon. Although an exact date is not known yet, we will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear any info. For now, we have some images of the M1 Note that we took during our hands on with the device recently. The M1 Note is reported to be one of the devices that will be introduced to the Indian market initially. We hope the images help you get a better understanding of the device.

The front is largely dominated by a 5.5″ IGZO display with Full 1080p HD resolution which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The bezels have been reduced especially on the sides where there is quite little gap between the screen and the phones edge.

The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Meizu’s own FlyMe OS UI layer on top and is powered by a Mediatek MT6752 Octa Core processor.

At the top you have the earpiece in the center. Next to it are the ambient light and proximity sensors. To the far right, you have the 5MP front facing camera unit.

Below the display, you will find the capacitive home button which also doubles up as a circular notification light ring. We’re not sure if this has the ability to display different colours but we expect white and red (while charging or to indicate low battery) to be a standard.

The back is predominantly made of glossy plastic and the phone comes in 5 different colours – White, Green, Blue, Yellow and Pink. Although it is made of plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy.

On the top at the back is the 13MP camera with Dual-Tone Dual-LED flash

Below you will find the Meizu branding along with some information about the design and manufacturing.

On the left side you will find the volume up and down buttons. Meizu has opted for separate buttons instead of a single rocker key.

The right side is pretty simple but houses the Dual MicroSIM slot which requires an ejector pin.

The top gets busier as it contains the lock/power key, a microphone and the 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measure 8.9mm in thickness.
