LG Cookie Pep launched in India for Rs.7500

LG Mobiles have launched the Cookie Pep bearing model number GD510 in India and is aimed at the youth. This Chic looking touchscreen phone might impress both guys and gals and it’s being endorsed by LG’s youth icons - John Abraham , Genelia and Abhay Deol . You must have seen the LG ads featuring the trio where they try to sell the idea  Everything you need nothing you don’t.

The phone features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen has a narrow 4.8 mm bezel giving the illusion of an uninterrupted sheet of glass. The phone has just one button on the face that functions as the menu, end and cancel keys, depending on the phone’s mode. The LG Cookie Pep is crafted from brushed aluminum.

“The all new LG Cookie Pep is in line with our strategy of introducing innovative gadgets and connecting with the youth through relatable propositions. As the name suggests, the phone will enable our young mobile users to have an unordinary fun experience. It delivers all the essentials in communication, multimedia and entertainment in a delightfully compact form. “Cookie Pep” will be actively marketed through a 360° plan and this will be our biggest campaign till date. The first LG cookie KP500 was a great hit for the handset maker and it claimed selling 10 million units of it worldwide. Now the Cookie Pep has killer looks and impressive features and LG might break sales records if the Pep lives up to it’s expectations !

    sorry pal that’s not the best way to check for 3G. For example iPhone 3G does not have a front panel camera , yet packs 3G :D

    yesterday i went to purchase NOkia 5230 and the shopkeeper told me that you bye nokia 5233 as it is not coming in market due to software problem. then i asked him when nokia 5235 is coming he told yet not decided. is it that nokia 5230 is having problem. can anywhone suggest which mobile i should bye. or i wait for release of nokia 5235

    I think u should go for 5230 or 5800 iam using both d phones bt it doesnt creat any problem.if u want more features n clear camera then go 4 nokia 5800

    ya i purchase LG cokkies pep last before 6 days. its realy good as comapire to nokia and sumsung. picture clearty is very good. sorrounding sound, cemara, fully touchscreen..guys purchase LG cookes its raly made for youth….

    i have searched internet and read reviews about both the phones and nokia 5233 is undisputed winner be it anything,even the camera is of less resolution but is better….

    Yeah! and even having 2MP camera it clicks clear and clear images even in low light. Only it get defeated in music department. Perhaps Nokia would have given a good music quality also.

    Samsung Star S5233 is much better than cooki pep and Nokia 5233.
    i am using this. It have good battery packup, Good Sound and cool phone. you can buy this.

    i prefer this phond cause d nokia phone has symbian os which is very slow and hangs a lot. I hope that u will not like a phone dat will take 18 seconds 2 open mes sages and phone directly!

    i thingk nokia 5233 is the best touch phone ever. It has every feature but no 3g. Afterall it is best phone in the range of 10000Rs phone. If you r not manage its mentanance, it should be hang otherwise superb & i like it. Remember . -. – . – . -

    Maine cookie pep March mein lia tha & tab se abhi tak minimum 10 to 15 times service center ke chakker lagaane pade, Please dont ever buy Lg mobiles, din bhar mein minimum 10 times ph restart ho jata hai, Camera quality acchi nahi hai specially for indoors, video file play karne ke liye bhi bohot mehnat karni padegi. SC ne 3 times pcp change karke diya phir phone replace karke diya but problem is not solved yet. Mujhe ye ph bohot pasand tha i wish isme koi prob nahi hoti :)
    dont buy lg mobiles.

    Nokia if you want a reliability and a good resale price, else I dont see any reason why you should even consider nokia.

    LG cookie pep is very slim, stylish and good looking phone. I just bought it last week after comparing with all other phones in that price range. It has very cool multimedia features, I am sure you will love the phone once you use that.
