The SmartEyeglass will be be available for pre-order in 10 countries next month for $840. Units will be available in Japan, Germany, the UK and US from March 10.  In addition to the US, the UK, and Germany, Sony says it’s providing the developer version of the SmartEyeglass to enterprise customers in other European countries. The display is a full-frame transparent lens that fills your field of vision for a true augmented reality experience. The UI painted on top of your vision is only monochrome, but like Glass it ties into your phone to do navigation, searching, and messaging. The developer edition comes with a controller that features a speaker, mic, NFC and touch sensor for controlling the display. It offers up to 150 minutes of battery life during continuous use and has a 3MP camera.
