GiffGaff launch cheap 4G from £12 per month

Value for money deals on 4G contracts are rather rare in the UK but GiffGaff, a virtual mobile network owned by O2, is about to change that with a range of flexible low-cost 4G contracts that offer value for money with no commitment. GiffGaff’s new goodybags offer 1GB, 3GB or 5GB internet for £12, £15 and £18 per month respectively along with an allowance of minutes, unlimited texts and free calls to other GiffGaff users.

The ‘goodybags’ allow GiffGaff to compete with Three as the companies providing value for money 4G; Three offers 4G LTE browsing and streaming for around £10 per month but O2, EE and Vodafone all charge a higher amount (up to £74.99 per month for 50GB 4G data on EE).

Naturally you might want a new handset to make full use of LTE and GiffGaff has you covered there with a range of 4G handsets available. These include LG’s G3, Microsoft’s Lumia 930, Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, HTC’s One M8, Sony’s Xperia Z3 Compact and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.

Interested in trading in your expensive contract for a low-cost no-commitment 4G deal? First, you’ll need to check if your area is covered using the coverage checker. Next, choose your phone and then pick one of the three goodybag plans available and you’re covered.
