One reason the N900 has been launched only in select markets is because it can be considered as a phone for technology enthusiasts rather than normal consumers. He’s indicating that this is a Proof of Concept rather than a full blown solution. Considering the fact that the N900 uses a ARM Cortex A8 CPU, the hardware can be more than enough to run Android. There is no HOWTO guide as of now which gives you instructions on how to get Android on your N900. We assume that the hack is far from being stable. Lets wait for the reaction from the Maemo Community
