Xiaomi MiPad-2

The MiPad has a  7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi with 4:3 aspect ratio, similar to the iPad mini. This has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well. It has Android capacitive touch buttons below the screen. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU. Since the GPU is powerful, hope we can expect the gaming performance to be better compared to other Android tablets. We will let you know about the gaming performance of the tablet soon.

Xiaomi MiPad-1

It runs on MIUI ROM based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The UI looks similar to the iOS. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xiaomi MiPad-7

The rear camera is a 8-megapixel module with Sony BSI stacked sensor, 1080p video recording and f/2.0 aperture.

Xiaomi MiPad-3

It has 2GB of RAM, 16 or 64GB of internal storage based on the variant and a microSD slot that you can open with the bundled ejector tool. It has Dual Band WiFi 802.11/b/g/n/ac (2X2 MIMO) and Bluetooth, but you don’t find a SIM slot in the tablet since it’s WiFi only. It packs a 6700 mAh battery.

The MiPad went on sale in China last month and 50000 units were sold out in just 3 Minutes 59 Seconds on launch day. The company did promise to bring the tablet to India, but it has not revealed any time frame yet.
