Panasonic started teasing their upcoming P81 smartphone recently. It released two teaser images and a video that hinted at colorful removable back covers, new software features such as smart app switch and Multi Window. It has released a new teaser image and a video that reveals that the phone would come with a Octa-Core processor.

This could be the Octa-Core MediaTek processor that is already present in a range of Android smartphone released this year. The company’s last year’s flagship, the Panasonic P51 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and a 5-inch display. Since the P81 would come with a faster processor, it could feature a Full HD display.
