Upcoming Xiaomi Mi3S expected to come with Snapdragon 801 and better build


Xiaomi is one of the few recognized Chinese manufacturers and because of their growing popularity, they are planning to expand globally and they are expected to come to India too. Xiaomi’s currently flagship is Mi3 and it comes with the near top of the line specifications and comes in solid build. Xiaomi Mi-3 was announced in September and was launched in December 2013.

According to a Chinese site, the company is already working on the successor and it will be called Xiaomi Mi-3S. The successor of Xiaomi Mi-3 is expected to come with the latest flagship specifications which includes Snapdragon 801 SoC. In addition to the beefed up processing power inside, it will come with 3GB RAM and have a similar 5inch Full HD 1080p display. The Xiaomi Mi-3S will also come with a 8MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear camera. The build quality is also expected to be better and will reportedly include more metal.

The pricing of the device is expected to be around 1999CNY which translates Rs. 20,000(approx) or 320$. Since Xiaomi has plans to enter the Indian smartphone market, we may very well see this product in India officially.
