Lenovo Z5 with 6.2-inch FHD+ 19:9 full-screen display, 6GB RAM, AI dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 announced

Lenovo just announced the Z5, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch and 90% screen-to-body ratio, even though the company teased it as a bezel-less smartphone. It is powered by Snapdragon 636 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 3.9 on top. Lenovo Z5 with bezel-less display surfaces in renders; metal frame and glass back teased in official images

Earlier this week Lenovo confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Z5 smartphone with bezel-less display at an event in Beijing on June 5th. Since then the company had been teasing the phone in several images, but it is yet to reveal the image of the bezel-less screen. Today an alleged render of the phone has surfaced in China that shows the near bezel-less screen and the front camera is present in the centre of the bottom bezel. Lenovo Z5 with bezel-less display, AI dual rear cameras to be announced on June 5

After several teasers Lenovo has confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Z5 smartphone with bezel-less display at an event in Beijing on June 5th. The company’s CEO already confirmed that the phone has 18 patented technologies implemented, and the phone will have AI-powered dual rear cameras, however he busted the rumors that said that it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
