Google has announced a new update to their video conferencing application, Google Meet, introducing a few changes to the interface and also added a few features. These include changes to viewing and sharing content on call, the addition of a Data saver feature, automatic light adjustment and more.

Google introduces Offline Mode, Mute All feature and more to Classroom and Meet

Google has announced a lot of new features for Google Meet and Google Classroom aimed at improving the experience for participants, students, teachers and hosts. These include a new offline mode for the Classroom app, improved grading capabilities, the ability to have more than one host and more.

Google adds improved controls and interactivity for Meet

Over the past few months, Google has been working towards adding features to their video conferencing tool, Meet, and their education tool, Classroom. Today they announced a lot of new updates coming to these two platforms that is releasing over the next few months including Attendance tracking, improved plagiarism check, better controls for moderators and more.

Google Meet adds low-light mode for Android and iOS

Getting good lighting conditions when participating in a video call is not always easy for everyone, especially with natural light. To help with this, Google is introducing a default low-light mode to its Meet app for iOS and Android, a feature that’s already found in Google Duo on mobile devices.
