Flipkart introduces Scheduled Delivery in selected cities

Last month Flipkart announced its annual priority subscription service, Flipkart First. Today, the Indian e-commerce giant has rolled out Scheduled Delivery service in selected cities. This will let Flipkart customers to choose a specific date and time for delivery of their orders.

Flipkart secures $210 million in funding from DST Global and others

Soon after acquiring fashion e-retailer Myntra for an estimated price of over $330 million, Flipkart has received funding worth $210 million from DST Global which is a fund led by Yuri Milner. Other investors in this latest round of funding include existing invested Tiger Global, Accel Partners and Iconiq Capital. Flipkart finally acquires Myntra in India’s biggest e-commerce deal

Flipkart and Myntra merger is a done deal. India’s big daddy Flipkart has acquired 100% stake in fashion and lifestyle e-retailer Myntra. The exact amount of the deal is not disclosed by either of the companies, but as per few reports it might be more than $300 million (Rs. 2000 crore approx.).
