Apple today announced that iOS 9, its latest operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that was released on September 16th is now present in more than 50% of iOS devices. Apple releases iOS 9 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Apple has released iOS 9, its latest operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users as it promised. Announced at the WWDC in June this year, iOS 9 is compatible with the iPhone 4s and newer, iPad 2 and newer, all iPad mini models, and fifth and sixth-generation iPod touch models. The iOS 9 update brings powerful search and improved Siri features, new multitasking features that lets two apps run at once, side by side on iPad, Picture-in-Picture, detailed transit information in Maps, News app and new capabilities in Apple Pay. Apple iOS 9 to roll out on September 16

Apple announced the iOS 9, the next iteration of iOS at WWDC back in June. Today it announced that iOS 9 will be released to the public on Wednesday, September 16, four days after the new iPhones go on pre-order. The iOS 9 update brings powerful search and improved Siri features, new multitasking features that two apps at once, side by side on iPad, Picture-in-Picture, detailed transit information in Maps, News app and new capabilities in Apple Pay.
