Airtel beats Reliance Jio in 4G download speed: OpenSignal

Latest State of Mobile Networks report in India from OpenSignal reveals that Airtel still has fastest download speed among the four national 4G operators. It has an average download speed of 9.15Mbps, compared to Reliance Jio which has download speed of just 5.81Mbps, which is actually behind Vodafone and Idea with 7.45Mbps and 7.4Mbps download speeds, respectively. Airtel agrees to provide additional PoIs to Jio

Airtel today announced that it will provide additional PoIs (Point of Interconnect) to Jio, following its bilateral discussions with Reliance Jio. “Airtel is a responsible organization committed to complying with the regulations and the Interconnect Agreements in letter and spirit and will continue to be so,” said the company.
