LG Optimus L3 E405 Dual SIM smartphone announced


LG has announced the Optimus L3 Dual E405, Dual SIM version of the Optimus L3. LG showcased the Optimus L3 and other L-Style series of smartphones at MWC 2012 earlier this February and the Optimus L3 went on sale in India last month. LG announced earlier this week that Optimus L5 would come with Dual SIM capabilities in select markets.

The LG Optimus L3 Dual has SIM switch button similar to the Optimus Net Dual, to switch between the SIM cards quickly. Other features are similar to the single SIM version such as, 3.2-inch (320×240 pixels) display, 800MHz Processor, 3MP camera. It runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread).

Other features include, 384MB RAM, 1GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with MicroSD. The connectivity features include, 3G HSDPA 3.6Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. It has 1,500 mAh battery.

The LG Optimus L3 Dual would go on sale in Ukraine in July for about 1500 Ukrainian grivnas (~US$ 185). It would also be available in Russia.
