At its next@acer global press conference in Berlin, Germany, Acer introduced the Predator Atlas 7, expanding its handheld gaming lineup with a more compact 7-inch model after the Predator Atlas 8 was introduced at the Computex earlier this year.
Hardware and Display Specifications
The Predator Atlas 7 (model PA07-I51) scales down the performance profile of Acer’s previous 8-inch model into a smaller footprint. It runs Windows 11 Home and can be configured with up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor alongside Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics. System memory scales up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM clocked at 7467 MT/s, supported by up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 solid-state storage.
The handheld centers around a 7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS-level touchscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 10-point multi-touch input. Key display metrics include:
- Refresh Rate: 120 Hz with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support
- Peak Brightness: 500 nits
- Color Coverage: 100% sRGB and 75% Adobe RGB
- Surface Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC anti-reflective treatment, supplemented by an included tempered-glass protector
Thermal Architecture, Controls, and Ergonomics
Thermal management is handled by a dual-fan setup pairing an 89-blade, 0.1 mm precision metal Predator AeroBlade fan with a secondary plastic unit. Airflow is channeled through internal conduits utilizing Acer’s Vortex Flow tuning to exhaust heat away from the core components under sustained workloads.
The chassis incorporates contoured grips, textured anti-slip surfaces, and an enlarged palm rest. Control inputs feature:
- Joysticks: Standard carbon film or optional Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks designed to prevent drift and eliminate dead zones.
- Triggers: Hall-effect analog triggers for precision actuation across varying pressure levels.
- Security: A Windows Hello-compatible fingerprint reader integrated directly into the power button.
Connectivity, Audio, and Battery Options
External connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports supporting high-speed peripherals and external displays, alongside a UHS-II microSD card reader (SD 4.0 compliant) and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. Wireless networking is provided by an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1775s module paired with Bluetooth 5.4.
Audio output is delivered through two 2-watt speakers powered by a Realtek ALC712 codec, supporting DTS:X Ultra and Hi-Res Audio. Inbound audio utilizes dual microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice AI noise suppression.

Availability
The Predator Atlas 7 is scheduled to launch in EMEA regions starting November 2026, followed by availability in North America in the fourth quarter of 2026. Pricing will be revealed closer to the sale.
Retail units will include system management via the PredatorSense application and two months of Xbox Game Pass access.
