vivo India has announced the launch date and key specifications for its upcoming smartphone, the vivo T5 as the successor to vivo T4. The device is scheduled to launch in the Indian market on Wednesday, September 2, positioned as a performance-oriented offering in the mid-range segment.
Design and Display
The vivo T5 features what the company designates as a “Skyline Design” and will be offered in two color variants: Royal Bronze and Silver Green. The handset incorporates an ultra-slim chassis with curved edges designed to improve ergonomics.
On the front, the smartphone includes a 1.5K resolution 3D curved AMOLED display supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, placing its screen specifications on par with premium tier devices.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek 7500 Turbo chipset. The processor includes dedicated hardware for on-device artificial intelligence capabilities and integrated AI software tools.
A core highlight of the vivo T5 is its 7,050mAh battery capacity. According to vivo, the handset is engineered to be the slimmest device in its category to house a battery exceeding 7,000mAh.
