iQOO 15T with 6.82″ 2K 144Hz LTPO OLED display, Dimensity 9500, 200MP camera, 8000mAh battery announced

iQOO officially introduced its latest smartphone, the iQOO 15T, as it had promised. The handset balances e-sports performance configurations with heavy-duty battery metrics and an updated imaging system.

Design and Visual Aesthetic

The iQOO 15T inherits the visual language of the more premium iQOO 15 Ultra, featuring a futuristic cabin “DECO” rear camera module layout. The structural build relies on a low-temperature matte mid-frame designed to resist smudges and thermal buildup. The device arrives in three colorways:

  • Qingyun (a new color addition to the family line)
  • Legend Edition (classic motorsport design motif)
  • Racing Edition (sleek, performance-focused motif)
Performance Architecture and Co-Processor

The computing platform is anchored by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition flagship chipset. Developed through deep architectural collaborations, the integration of a new-generation “Monster super core engine” yields a reported 34% increase in stable frame rate performance under load. The processing core is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and fast UFS 4.1 flash storage.

For gaming workflows, the smartphone embeds iQOO’s proprietary Q3 e-sports co-processor. Positioned as a dedicated mobile discrete graphics solution, it unifies full-scene ray tracing, super-resolution scaling, and frame interpolation.

  • 2K Resolution Scaling: Supported across 11 popular gaming titles.
  • 144FPS Super-Frame Rate: Integrated into over 140 AAA mobile properties.
  • Dual-Client Concurrent Execution: Allows 2K resolution at 144FPS simultaneously across 6 major first-person shooter (FPS) titles.
  • Hardware Accelerated Ray Tracing: Features exclusive full-scene coverage for 4 top-tier mobile games.
Display Characteristics

The device carries a 6.82-inch 2K “Everest Screen” constructed with BOE Q10+ luminescent materials. The panel features a resolution of 3186×1440 and employs an LTPO backplane supporting an adaptive refresh rate spanning 1Hz to 144Hz.

[Screen Brightness Metrics]
Peak Brightness: ██████████████████████████████ 4500 nits
Global Peak Brightness: ████████████ 1800 nits

For vision preservation, the display implements circularly polarized light technology, 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at full brightness, DC-like dimming, and the brand’s newest generative eye-protection algorithms.

Control Dynamics and Game Streaming Ecosystem

Touch input latency has been reduced via a dedicated ultra-sensory touch chip that supports an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 4000Hz. Coupled with a 6-stage software rendering pipeline optimization, the system aims for near-instantaneous control response. Complementing this is a 400Hz ultra-sensory gyroscope to assist in micro-movements and tracking when aiming.

The iQOO 15T underwent cooperative optimization with the studio behind the film Delta Force, resulting in pixel-level adjustments to eliminate edge touch errors, refine joystick sensitivity curves, and lower overall click latency to 30.42ms.

For content creators, a native game live-streaming assistant built into the system’s “Game Box” interface allows users to push a stream live within 3 seconds. The suite utilizes a dedicated self-developed screen projection pipeline to steady wireless signal delivery and offers integrated highlight clipping, intelligent recording, privacy filters, and customizable overlay backgrounds out of the box at no additional cost.

Power Subsystem and Camera Hardware

Powering the phone is an ultra-thin 8,000mAh Blue Ocean battery, marking the highest capacity in the current flagship lineup. Recharging is handled via a 100W super-fast flash charge configuration, capable of delivering up to 3 hours of short-video playback from a 5-minute charge.
