Samsung has announced the global availability of its 2026 monitor lineup, expanding across gaming, OLED, professional, and flexible display categories. The lineup introduces higher resolution displays, faster refresh rates, and new panel technologies aimed at gaming performance, creative workflows, and everyday productivity.
The company also reaffirmed its leadership in the global gaming monitor segment with an 18.9% revenue share. It additionally maintained the No. 1 position in OLED gaming monitors for the third consecutive year, holding a 26% share according to IDC.
Odyssey G8 6K and 5K gaming monitors
The new Odyssey lineup introduces two high-end models focused on combining ultra-high resolution with competitive performance tuning. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) is the first-ever 6K gaming monitor, built on an IPS panel with 224 PPI clarity. It supports 165Hz at full 6K resolution and includes a Dual Mode that enables up to 330Hz at 3K resolution for high-speed gaming scenarios.
The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) delivers a 5K resolution panel with up to 180Hz refresh rate and 218 PPI density. It also includes a Dual Mode reaching 360Hz at QHD resolution, making it suitable for users switching between immersive visuals and esports-level performance.
Odyssey OLED G7 / G8 monitors
Samsung’s OLED gaming lineup grows with the Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 series, focusing on brightness efficiency, response speed, and reduced reflections for improved gameplay clarity. These models extend OLED adoption into higher refresh and higher brightness segments while maintaining deep contrast levels.
Non-overlapping OLED upgrades:
- QD-OLED Penta Tandem structure improves efficiency and brightness stability
- Glare Free technology reduces reflections in bright environments
- USB-C 98W power delivery enables single-cable setups
- DisplayHDR True Black 500 (32-inch model) enhances HDR contrast depth
These upgrades sit alongside core gaming specs such as up to 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time (G7), and Dual Mode support for high-FPS switching.
ViewFinity S8 5K & WUHD
The ViewFinity S8 series is designed for professional users who require high-resolution accuracy, multitasking efficiency, and strong device connectivity. The 40-inch curved WUHD model supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and is built for multi-window workflows and extended productivity sessions.
The 27-inch variant brings 5K resolution in a more compact form factor, targeting creators and office users who prioritize clarity and ergonomic comfort.

Movingstyle Essential 4K display
The Movingstyle Essential monitor is designed for users who want a movable display experience across different rooms and use scenarios. It features a 43-inch 4K UHD panel mounted on a rolling stand with full height adjustment and multi-angle positioning support.
Unlike fixed monitors, it is designed to function as a hybrid entertainment and productivity screen with built-in Smart TV apps and Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming.

Pricing and availability
The new Samsung monitor lineup will be available globally soon, with pricing starting at USD 899.99 (Rs. 87,095 approx.) depending on the model and configuration.
