The REDMAGIC 11S Pro series smartphones were officially released today in China, as it had promised. Positioned within the high-performance gaming segment, the new lineup is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition mobile platform and introduces new thermal management technologies.
Design and Display
The REDMAGIC 11S Pro series features a flat back panel design and an uninterrupted full-screen display on the front. The devices are available in four color variants: Deuterium Transparent Silver Wing, Deuterium Transparent Dark Night, Dark Knight, and Silver Wing Warrior.
The front of the device utilizes a 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE X10 with no visible camera hole, achieving a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio. Key display specifications include:
- Refresh Rate: Supports up to 144Hz.
- Front Camera: 16MP under-display camera.
- Panel Technology: Utilizes the X10 under-display luminescent material developed in collaboration with BOE, which reduces power consumption by 10% and increases lifespan by 30%.
- Biometrics: All models are equipped with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking.
For touch responsiveness, the devices come standard with a Synaptics touch chip, delivering an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3000Hz and a multi-finger touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
Performance and Gaming Hardware
At the core of the REDMAGIC 11S Pro series is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition mobile platform. With a CPU clock speed reaching 4.74GHz, the manufacturer states it is the most powerful Snapdragon mobile platform to date.
To supplement the primary processor, the phones include Red Magic’s self-developed gaming chip, the Redcore R4. This co-processor is dedicated to optimizing touch controls, light effects, and rendering speeds, while also providing super-resolution and super-frame capabilities.

- Next-Generation PC Emulator: The device is the first to offer a direct Steam connection mode, enabling cross-platform compatibility for genuine PC games.
- Save Data: Supports real-time game save data sharing.
- Network Acceleration: Includes a built-in Thunder Accelerator, with a complimentary 6-month trial provided by Red Magic.
- Multiplayer: Supports cross-platform two-player games and cooperative gameplay.
Thermal Management
To manage heat generated by the hardware, the new device utilizes an industry-first combined air and water cooling system.
- Active Air Cooling: Features the Wind Chaser 4.0 active cooling fan, which operates at speeds up to 24,000 rpm. It utilizes a through-flow airflow design and an IPX8 waterproof rating, keeping operating noise levels below 30dB.
- Liquid Cooling: Incorporates a newly upgraded pulsed water cooling engine. This system uses a custom liquid flow channel design containing fluorinated liquid—similar to that used in AI servers—driven by a unique piezoelectric micro-pump. The housing is designed to be drop-resistant and leak-proof.
Battery, Camera, and Connectivity
The standard Red Magic 11S Pro is equipped with an 8000mAh battery, marketed as the “Bull Demon King Battery 3.0,” which is the largest capacity ever featured in a Red Magic device. For charging, the Pro+ variant specifically supports 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
In the camera department, the phone features a 50MP dual main camera setup on the rear and supports various AI-powered image editing tools.

REDMAGIC 11s Pro+ 12GB+256GB model costs 6199 yuan (USD 910 / Rs. 87,720 approx.), 16GB+512GB model costs 6999 yuan (USD 1027 / Rs. 99,040 approx.) and the top-end 16GB+ 1TB model costs 7999 yuan (USD 1174 / Rs. 1,13,210 approx.). It is already on sale in China.
REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will launch in China in June, and it is set to launch globally as the REDMAGIC Astra 2 Gaming Tablet.
