Canon EOS R6V full-frame video camera with RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM power zoom lens launched in India


Canon India has announced a new professional camera kit featuring the EOS R6V full-frame camera and the RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM Lens, which is Canon’s first full-frame L-series lens with a built-in power zoom.

The system is designed for filmmakers, creators, and production professionals, focusing on cinematic video capture, flexible workflows, and hybrid shooting needs.

Alongside the launch, Canon introduced #IndiaInMotion, a creator-led initiative focused on cinematic storytelling.

EOS R6V full-frame video camera

The EOS R6V is a full-frame camera designed with a video-first approach, based on the performance architecture of the EOS R6 Mark III. It supports hybrid workflows with emphasis on extended recording, vertical shooting, and flexible post-production output.

The camera supports up to three times longer 7K Open Gate recording duration compared to the EOS R6 Mark III, making it suitable for long-form production use cases.

RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM power zoom lens

The RF 20–50mm F4L IS USM is Canon’s first full-frame L-series lens with built-in power zoom, designed for cinematic control and hybrid shooting flexibility.

  • Built-in power zoom with up to 15 adjustable speed levels
