realme P4 Power 5G Unboxing and First Impressions


realme today launched the P4 Power, the company’s latest smartphone in the P4 series in India. It packs a 144Hz AMOLED screen, has IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings, and has a huge 10001mAh battery, the highest battery on a smartphone in India yet. Here we have the first impressions of the phone.

The realme P4 Power features a 6.8-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate. Since it has up to 6500 nits peak brightness, and up to 1800 nits HBM brightness, the screen is bright even outdoors. There is also PWM + DC dimming, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

It has a 16-megapixel camera inside the centre punch-hole. The earpiece is present on the top edge, but it doesn’t double up as a secondary speaker. The phone has 1.72mm ultra-narrow bottom bezels, and 94% screen-to-body ratio.

Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC, and HyperVision+ AI chip, the phone has up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 14GB of virtual RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is VC soaking plate+Copper-graphite heat dissipation material + graphite material.

It runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 and will receive 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates, similar to realme P4.

Coming to the buttons and ports, the power button and the volume rockers are present on the right. The dual SIM slot is present on the bottom along with the USB Type-C port, microphone, and speaker grill. The secondary microphone is on the top, along with the IR blaster. It has a plastic frame but comes with a matte finish, so it doesn’t attract fingerprints easily.

The phone has a 50MP main camera with 1/1.95″ Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. There is up to 4K 30fps video recording support with the rear and 1080p 30fps recording with the front camera. Check out some camera samples.

The phone has a TransView Design is where technology that reveals internal structure as part of the exterior design. There is circuit-inspired patterns and exposed screw details highlight a raw, tech- forward aesthetic, said the company. In addition to the TransOrange, the phone also comes in  TransSilver, and TransBlue colours.

The phone has military-grade durability and has IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It packs a huge, 10001mAh battery with 80W fast charging, yet weighs just 219 grams and is 9.08mm thick. There is also 27W reverse wired charging that lets you use the phone to charge other devices.

The realme P4 Power 5G starts at Rs. 25,999 and will be available from Flipkart, realme.com and offline stores starting from February 5th. There is a Rs. 2000 bank offer, so the effective starting price is Rs. 23,999.
