Promate Technologies expanded its product offerings with the launch of the TripMate-GaN160, the world’s first 160W GaNFast Universal Travel Adapter, now available in India. The adapter is designed to offer efficient, high-power charging in a compact and travel-friendly format.
Promate highlighted that the TripMate-GaN160 is 60% smaller than traditional travel adapters, making it ultra-portable. Its sleek, slide-out plug design ensures easy storage and a hassle-free travel experience. The adapter features GaNFast technology, providing faster and more efficient charging while reducing heat and minimizing the adapter’s bulk.
The TripMate-GaN160 delivers a total power output of 160W, with the following ports:
- A 140W PD USB-C port
- Two additional PD USB-C ports
- A 60W USB-A port
- A universal AC socket supporting up to 2500W
This allows users to charge multiple high-power devices simultaneously, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets. The adapter is designed to support devices that require significant power, such as laptops and gaming machines.
The adapter is equipped with a Multi-Protect Safety System, including a 10A fuse, overcharge protection, short-circuit prevention, and temperature control, ensuring the safety of connected devices.
In terms of worldwide compatibility, the TripMate-GaN160 comes with interchangeable plugs for US, UK, EU, and AU regions, making it compatible with over 150 countries.
Promate noted that the 140W USB-C fast charging port is capable of powering devices such as the MacBook Pro 16” (140W), Dell XPS 17 (100W), Razer Blade 15 (100W), and most high-performance gaming laptops, including those with RTX 3080/4080/4090 GPUs.
