The Nokia Lumia 1020 has finally launched in India today, at an event in New Delhi. The 41 Megapixel PureView camera had been doing its victory lap as one of the best camera phones around the world and it has finally reached destination India, alas without a price tag. But along with the Lumia 1020, accessories were also launched, namely the Camera Grip and the Wireless Charging shell. Weirdly enough, the accessories have been priced, with the Camera Grip coming at Rs. 7,500 and the Wireless Charging shell coming in at Rs. 3,200. The camera grip adds a comfortable shutter button, a 1020 mAH extra battery and even a tripod mount for taking long exposure photography. The camera grip is a serious accessory and is much needed for camera enthusiasts who want to expand their creativity. It will cost you a whopping Rs. 7,500 but might be worth it if you are into serious mobile photography. Check out the post we did earlier for more details on this.

You might have also noticed that, unlike the 920, the Lumia 1020 doesn’t come with wireless charging in-built, so Nokia have added an option to add an external accessory that can snap on the back to enable wireless charging. The two dots on the back are built for this exact reason –
