OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max go global

OPPO has formally launched its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max for the global markets, as it had announced. Co-developed with Hasselblad, the new series focuses heavily on imaging hardware, introducing high-resolution multi-sensor arrays alongside upgraded displays, larger silicon-carbon batteries, and the company’s new ColorOS 17 operating system.

Camera Hardware and Computational Imaging

The focal point of the release is the rear camera configuration. While the standard Find X10 incorporates a dual 200MP setup, the Find X10 Pro Max features an industry-first triple 200MP camera system across all three focal lengths:

  • Main Camera: A 200MP Ultra HDR camera utilizing a 1/1.28-inch ISOCELL HPC sensor, co-developed with Samsung, featuring DeepPix technology that provides up to 17 stops of dynamic range.
  • Ultra-Wide Camera: A 200MP 1/1.56-inch sensor paired with a 124° autofocus lens.
  • Telephoto Camera: A 200MP module with an f/2.1 aperture, a 10cm minimum focus distance for macro capture, and support for an external 3.28x Hasselblad optical teleconverter.

Across both devices, OPPO has introduced a default capture resolution of 26MP from ultra-wide through 9.9x zoom, aiming to provide higher fidelity than traditional 12MP binned images without generating full-resolution file overhead. Full 50MP and 200MP output remains accessible via a dedicated Hasselblad Hi-Res Mode.

Processing is managed by the LUMO True Image Engine, paired with a multispectral True Color Camera. According to OPPO, the computational pipeline reduces artificial sharpening and aggressive HDR tone-mapping in favor of preserving natural contrast, optical textures, and accurate skin tones.

Video Capabilities and Workflow Integrations

For video production, the Find X10 Pro Max supports 4K recording at up to 120fps and 8K at 30fps across all three rear cameras, while the standard Find X10 supports these formats on its main and telephoto lenses. Both models include support for Dolby Vision, ACES-certified O-Log2, and Open Gate Capture, which utilizes the entire sensor surface to facilitate flexible reframing in post-production.

OPPO has integrated these capture profiles directly into the third-party Blackmagic Camera application. For extended shoots, a modular Tilta Khronos Creator Kit will be available for the Pro Max, adding a 67mm filter ring, accessory mounting, and an active cooling fan. At the software level, OPPO also collaborated with Meta to optimize compression pipelines for direct uploads to Instagram.

Displays, Build, and Performance

Both models utilize a sculpted glass enclosure designed to merge smoothly with the camera housing. Durability ratings include IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance, alongside an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification.

The displays use next-generation OLED panels supporting the broad BT.2020 color space:

  • Find X10: 6.59-inch LTPO panel, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming.
  • Find X10 Pro Max: 6.78-inch LTPO panel sharing the same 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness, and dimming specifications.

Under the hood, the Find X10 runs on the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600M, while the Find X10 Pro Max is powered by the flagship 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro. Both are paired with vapor chamber cooling systems and high-density 8,000mAh silicon-carbon batteries supporting 80W wired SUPERVOOC and 50W wireless AIRVOOC charging.

ColorOS 17 and AI Features

The series debuts ColorOS 17, which introduces architectural updates via the Luminous Rendering Engine and Laminar Flow Engine. OPPO reports a 55% improvement in app launch stability and up to 25% higher background app retention over the prior version.

System software includes several new AI implementations:

  • AI Mind Pilot: Incorporates agent-based task handling co-developed with Manus to navigate local files, web data, and productivity workflows via natural language.
  • AI Photo Agent: Provides context-aware adjustments, prompt-based edits, and style transfer matching.
  • AI Call Guard: Analyzes incoming voice calls locally to identify synthetic audio or real-time facial manipulation fraud.

Cloud-based AI tasks are processed through OPPO’s Private Computing Cloud, utilizing end-to-end encryption and post-quantum cryptographic standards.
