Google Gemini gets file generation feature for Docs, Sheets and PDFs

Google has updated the Gemini app with a new capability that allows users to generate downloadable and ready-to-share files directly inside chat using simple prompts. The feature enables users to move from ideas to structured files without leaving the Gemini app.

The update removes the need for copying, pasting, or reformatting content across different applications. Users can now convert prompts into complete files and export them for use.
