ISSEY MIYAKE and Apple have introduced iPhone Pocket, an accessory inspired by the concept of “a piece of cloth.” Its singular 3D-knitted construction is designed to fit any iPhone and other small everyday items.
iPhone Pocket: Design and Features
- Ribbed Open Structure: Reflects the signature pleats of ISSEY MIYAKE.
- Expandable Pocket: Fully encloses the iPhone and stretches to accommodate additional items.
- Peekable Display: The open textile allows users to see the iPhone screen when stretched.
- Multiple Wear Options: Can be handheld, attached to bags, or worn on the body.
Crafted in Japan, iPhone Pocket was developed by combining ISSEY MIYAKE’s pleated design philosophy with Apple’s design insights.
Pricing and Availability
iPhone Pocket will be available for purchase starting Friday, November 14, at select Apple Store locations and on apple.com in France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the U.S., with pricing as follows:
- Short Strap: USD 149.95 (Rs. 13,280 approx.) — available in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, black.
- Long Strap: USD 229.95 (Rs. 20,365 approx.) — available in sapphire, cinnamon, black.
Apple Specialists can help customers mix and match strap lengths and colors and style the accessory with their iPhone.
