As expected Google has launched the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in India which is the second Google branded Foldable to launch in the India market. Here is a quick look at what’s in the box and our initial thoughts on the hardware.

The main story is the 8-inch Super Actua Flex inner screen and the 6.4-inch outer Actua OLED. Both hit a massive 3000 nits peak brightness which is great for outdoors.
At the heart of the phone is the new Google Tensor G5 chip paired with 16GB RAM. There is also Pixelsnap – a new magnetic array for effortless wireless charging and accessory attachment which can be seen as Google’s version of MagSafe.
What I noticed immediately is the wider cover screen which has a 20:9 aspect ratio which makes it like a regular phone screen unlike other foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which have a 21:9 aspect ratio which is narrow.
The build quality certain feels good in the hand and the design comprises of erospace-grade aluminum, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a silky matte finish. It feels significantly more durable and premium the the previous Pixel fold.
Despite the slim 10.8 mm profile when folded, the device weighs in at 258 g; while it feels incredibly well made, it does come across as slightly bulky compared to some of the thinner and lighter competition currently in the market.
In terms of the main cameras, the is a a triple setup featuring a 48MP main, 10.5MP ultra-wide, and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. There are 10MP cameras both on the cover screen and the inner display for selfies and video calls.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold ships with Android 16 out of the box, offering a clean, AI-first experience. Google also offers 1 year of AI Pro subscription worth ₹23,400 giving users 2TB of storage and access to Gemini Advanced.
