iQOO 15 flagship phone to be announced on October 20th


After teasers, iQOO has confirmed the launch of iQOO 15, the company’s next flagship smartphone at an event in Shenzhen, China on October 20th. The company said that the sale will begin on the same day.

The iQOO 15 will feature set to feature 6.85″ 2K + 144Hz Samsung flat screen with M14 luminescent material, 508 PPI, Dolby Vision, instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3200Hz, and has Q3 chip for 2K resolution and 144FPS gaming.

The company already confirmed Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will feature a 50MP 1/1.5″ IMX9 series main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP IMX8 series 3x periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x zoom.

The phone will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. It is said to feature waterproof body, come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, enclosed symmetrical dual speakers, a 091640 X-axis motor and pack a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging as well as wireless charging.

iQOO will also introduce iQOO Pad 5e with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 12.1″ 144Hz display and 10,000mAh battery, iQOO Watch GT 2 with 2.07″ display, eSports mode 2.0 and up to 33 days of battery life, and the iQOO TWS 5 with up to 60dB ANC, and 42ms low latency gaming at the event.

iQOO has also started teasing the launch of iQOO 15 globally, so we can expect the global launch date soon after the China launch.
