The ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 is a redesigned mobile workstation aimed at professionals requiring high performance and reliability on the move. Its new chassis design is more portable while maintaining desktop-level capabilities.
It features Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors with up to 24 cores and an integrated NPU for AI-accelerated workflows. The workstation supports NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell graphics with up to 24GB VRAM, making it suitable for intensive tasks such as 3D rendering and complex simulations.
Lenovo’s AI Developer suite combines open-source AI libraries and frameworks with workstation hardware. ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition

Tailored AI Agents and Workflows
In collaboration with Intel, Lenovo launched the AI Agent Pilot Program using Intel’s AI Assistant Builder, a modular toolkit for creating on-device generative AI solutions. A proof-of-concept for IEEE journal editors automates peer review tasks, including manuscript formatting checks, reviewer selection, and feedback synthesis, while maintaining local data privacy.
