Google Pixel 10 Series could offer gimbal-like stabilization

Google is set to launch the Pixel 10 series with a major camera upgrade. As reported by Android Headlines, the new models will feature an advanced stabilization system designed to match the performance of physical gimbals, such as the DJI Osmo Mobile 6, but without requiring any extra hardware.

Stabilization Across the Entire Pixel 10 Lineup

The full Pixel 10 family, including the Pixel 10, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold, will feature the updated camera stabilization system.

While earlier Pixel phones already included reliable video stabilization, the Pixel 10 series is expected to raise the bar by embedding gimbal-level tech directly into the phone’s camera system.

According to previous reports, the Pixel 10 series will use most of the same sensors as the Pixel 9. The biggest change will be the addition of a telephoto lens to the standard Pixel 10, which did not feature one in earlier versions.

When paired with software tools like Google’s Video Boost, the upgraded stabilization is expected to significantly enhance video recording quality.

Launch Timeline

Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 10 series during its “Made by Google” event on August 20. Pre-orders are likely to begin immediately, with shipping scheduled to start on August 28.

Although Google hasn’t officially confirmed the dates, a formal announcement is expected soon.
