Lenovo Legion 9i with 18″ 4K 240Hz display, Core Ultra 9 CPU, up to RTX 5090 GPU announced


Lenovo announced the Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10), a high-performance gaming laptop, at its Tech World Shanghai 2025 event on Thursday. The company stated it is designed for those who “play” games and those who “make” them, catering to both gamers and developers.

The Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) features slim bezels and a 93% screen-to-body ratio, with an 18-inch PureSight display offering up to 4K resolution and optional 2K 3D support for a glasses-free 3D experience. It supports Dual Mode, switching between 240Hz at 4K and 440Hz at Full HD.

Powered by the Lenovo AI Core chip and AI Engine+, it optimizes performance for gaming and rendering tasks. Lenovo Legion Space software syncs RGB lighting with in-game audio, and AI tools like Game Coach and Game Clip Master enhance gaming skills and content creation.

The Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, delivering 280W of total power. It supports up to 192GB DDR5 RAM and 8TB SSD storage with PCIe Gen 5.

The Legion Coldfront: Vapor cooling system keeps noise under 48dB at full load, while the top cover, made from eight layers of aviation-grade carbon fiber, ensures durability and lightness. It also offers multiple ports, including two Thunderbolt 5, HDMI, and DC-in.

Software and Accessories

The Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) offers three months of PC Game Pass, Legion Ultimate Support with 24/7 assistance and next-day repairs, and Lenovo’s CO2 Offset Services to offset carbon emissions through verified climate projects.

Additionally, Lenovo introduced the Legion 18” Armored Backpack II, featuring an EVA-molded front shield, double-layered laptop compartment, and dedicated accessory pockets for secure and comfortable travel.

The Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) is set for a June 2025 release, starting at 4,499 EUR (USD 5051 / Rs. 4,33,360 approx.), with availability in North America in Q4 2025, and the Legion 18″ Armored Backpack II will also be offered with pricing to be announced.
