LG Electronics (LG) is rolling out its 2025 QNED evo TV lineup globally, announced in December 2024, with advanced display technologies, AI features, and sizes from 43 to 100 inches. The lineup includes the 100-inch QNED89A and wireless QNED9MA.
LG 2025 QNED evo TVs
The 2025 QNED evo TVs feature LG’s nanoparticle-based Dynamic QNED Color technology, tailored to each model, replacing quantum dots for bright, true-to-life colors. Certified by Intertek for 100% color volume, they show clear, undistorted visuals.
The QNED9MA, QNED85, and QNED92 models use Mini LED and the Alpha 8 AI processor, which improves AI performance by 70% over the prior model, offering sharp images, better contrast, and precise lighting. AI Picture Pro enhances scene clarity, Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro balances brightness and contrast, and AI Sound Pro delivers virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from built-in speakers. The 100-inch model offers a cinema-like experience.
Five AI features, accessed via a button on the AI Magic Remote, include AI Concierge for content suggestions based on viewing habits, AI Search using a Large Language Model to understand user requests, AI Chatbot to fix minor TV issues, AI Picture·Sound Wizard for tailored audio-visual settings, and Voice ID to switch profiles by voice, analyzing 1.6 billion image and 40 million sound settings.
The webOS 25 platform, powered by the Alpha 8 processor, supports these features and provides updates for five years. The TVs serve as smart home hubs with LG ThinQ, Google Home, Apple AirPlay, and Google Cast support. Gamers get 4K 144Hz with AMD FreeSync Premium, smooth visuals, and cloud gaming via the LG Gaming Portal.
QNED9M (QNED9MA)
The QNED9MA offers wireless 4K video transmission at 144Hz using the Zero Connect Box, a technology first seen in LG’s 2023 OLED evo M series. It delivers clear visuals without delay and earns AMD FreeSync Premium certification for smooth, tear-free images.
The QNED9MA, available in 75-inch and 86-inch models, combines Mini LED, the Alpha 8 processor, and specialized Dynamic QNED Color for vibrant pictures, with the Zero Connect Box connecting devices to simplify wiring and maximize space.

Availability
The lineup launches in early May 2025 in premium markets like Korea and North America, followed by Europe and other regions.
