Google Play Games expands PC catalog, multi-account support and more

Google Play Games is growing its library by adding more PC games and improving the experience across both PC and mobile devices, the company announced. This update introduces new titles, exclusive rewards, and better gameplay options for players.

New PC Games Added

The platform is expanding its range of PC games. Alongside popular titles like “Remember of Majesty,” “Genshin Impact,” and “Journey of Monarch,” new games such as “Game of Thrones: Kingsroad,” “Sonic Rumble,” and “ODIN: VALHALLA RISING” will arrive in 2025.

Google also noted that mobile developers can now easily bring their games to PC. Titles like “Train Sim,” “Pet Shop Fever: Animal Hotel,” and thousands of other mobile games are now playable on Google Play Games for PC.

The full PC catalog will also be available on additional devices, including AMD laptops and desktops.

PC Games on Mobile

Starting this month, PC games like “DREDGE” and “TABS Mobile” are launching on Android through Google Play. Later this year, “Disco Elysium” will join, allowing players to shape their story as a mystery detective. These games are optimized for mobile, ensuring smooth performance on the go.

Exclusive Rewards with Play Points

Aurash Mahbod, Vice President and General Manager of Games on Google Play, said, “We also want to celebrate our players and your gameplay on PC, so we’re making Play Points easier to use on PC with up to 10 times points boosters.”

This feature rolls out over the next few weeks, letting players track their Play Points balance across mobile and PC. Points can be earned and redeemed for in-game items, discounts, and more.

Personalized Gaming Experience

Matthew McCullough, Vice President of Product Management for Android Developer, emphasized, “To make Google Play Games tailored to you, try out new custom controls for optimal comfort and performance.”

Starting this month, a game sidebar will offer quick in-game adjustments. Multi-account and multi-instancing support will also allow players to run the same game with multiple accounts simultaneously. These features aim to personalize how users play across devices.

Smoother Gameplay with Android Tech

Google highlighted performance upgrades for developers. A modern graphics API called Vulkan improves frame rates and delivers realistic visuals by leveraging a device’s graphics capabilities. The Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF) is also enhanced to optimize device performance, ensuring stable and responsive gameplay.

Availability

The expanded PC game catalog and mobile-optimized titles are rolling out in March 2025, with additional PC games and features arriving later this year. Play Points boosters and personalization tools will be available over the next few weeks, while the full catalog’s support for AMD devices is now active.
