Our recently conducted study, ‘Panasonic’s 2024 Young Parents Everyday Life Concerns,’ highlighted the diverse considerations of consumers regarding AC-related issues, extending beyond basic cooling to encompass indoor air hygiene, efficiency, and technological integration (connectivity).

We have developed and manufactured our new range of ACs with the evolving needs of our consumers in mind. The new line-up of ACs, including India’s first Matter-enabled RACs, will not only offer interoperability but also simplicity, reliability, and security.

By seamlessly connecting with other Matter-certified devices and platforms, they will enable smarter and more efficient energy usage, optimizing comfort while minimizing environmental impact. With this, Panasonic marks a significant leap in innovation, ensuring flexibility and convenience for consumers in the realm of smart appliances.

Commenting on the launch, Abhishek Verma, Business Head, Air Conditioners Group, PMIN, PLSIND said,

At Panasonic, Air Conditioners serve as a vital growth engine for our consumer durables division. In this competitive market, we continuously innovate to align with evolving consumer preferences. From Indoor Air Quality and energy conservation to enhanced connectivity and convenience, we’ve now integrated Matter into our RACs through our Miraie platform, elevating the smart home experience.

Matter ensures interoperability and offers simplicity, reliability, and security. In essence, a Panasonic Air Conditioner equipped with Matter technology can be effortlessly managed using the Miraie platform or any other Matter-compatible platform. Likewise, any other Room Air Conditioner brand compatible with Matter can be easily controlled through the Miraie platform. We anticipate robust demand for ACs this season and aim for a 40% growth compared to the previous AC season.
