Amazfit Helio Ring targeted at athletes announced

At CES 2024, Amazfit announced the Amazfit Helio Ring, the company’s first smart ring. Whereas most smart rings are primarily considered sleep trackers for general lifestyle users, the Amazfit Helio Ring is designed to support athletes who seek the ultimate in recovery monitoring, analysis, and guidance, said the company.

The ring is made up of a titanium alloy, making it durable, slim, and weighing less than 4g. Users can choose from two different sizes: size 10 or size 12. It has 10ATM water resistance, meaning the wearable can endure the equivalent of up to 100 meters of water pressure.

The Helio Ring can track pulse more clearly and also monitors heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, stress, and sleep tracking. It also has a built-in electrodermal activity sensor that measures skin and sweat responses to offer better insights into mental stress.

The ring is compatible with Zepp App. Through this, it provides an intuitive daily Readiness score that’s designed to help the athlete easily understand whether they should focus their day on activity or recovery.

Furthermore, the ring can work in tandem with the Amazfit smartwatch to provide better insights into health metrics. Users can also subscribe to Zepp Aura AI, which gives access to Zepp Wellness Coach. This tool proactively analyzes your sleep and answers your wellness questions via an AI chatbot.

Availability

The Amazfit Helio Ring will be available in early March 2024. More information about the ring and pricing will be revealed at the time of launch. Interested users can now sign up on the official page for updates about the ring.
