TECNO Phantom V Flip case renders surface online

TECNO is preparing to release a new foldable phone called the Phantom V Flip. This phone folds vertically, and its protective case has been seen on a Chinese e-commerce platform, giving us a glimpse of its design.

From the case images, we can see a circular secondary screen on the back for quick notifications, time, and date. It’s surrounded by dual cameras and a flash, while the volume and power buttons are on the right side.

According to information found on Google Play Console, the Phantom V Flip may have a 6.75″ to 6.9” 144Hz screen with FHD+ 1080p resolution and 480 ppi. The phone is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 5G chip, which is similar to the Dimensity 1300 chip.

In terms of software, it will run on the HIOS system based on Android 13 and feature a 64MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 4000mAh battery, and 66W fast charging. The device will be available in three colors: black, white, and purple.

However, there’s not much other information available on other specifications and launch date yet. TECNO also unveiled the PHANTOM Ultimate rollable screen concept phone at IFA 2023.
